چکیده

The authors regret that in the original version of their paper, they mistakenly used the phrase OVA-expressing cells instead of OVA-secreting cells in parts of the text and cited reference Boissonnas et al. (2007. http://dx.doi.org/10.1084/jem.20061890) instead of Zeelenberg et al. (2008. http://dx.doi.org/10.1158/0008-5472.CAN-07-3163) and Sedlik et al. (2014. http://dx.doi.org/10.3402/jev.v3.24646). Critical role for Sec22b-dependent antigen cross-presentation in antitumor immunity

CD8+ T cells mediate antigen-specific immune responses that can induce rejection of solid tumors. In this process, dendritic cells (DCs) are thought to take up tumor antigens, which are processed into peptides and loaded onto MHC-I molecules, a process called "cross-presentation." Neither the actual contribution of cross-presentation to antitumor immune responses nor the intracellular pathways ...

Sec22b Regulates Phagosomal Maturation and Antigen Crosspresentation by Dendritic Cells

Antigen (Ag) crosspresentation by dendritic cells (DCs) involves the presentation of internalized Ags on MHC class I molecules to initiate CD8+ T cell-mediated immunity in response to certain pathogens and tumor cells. Here, we identify the SNARE Sec22b as a specific regulator of Ag crosspresentation. Sec22b localizes to the ER-Golgi intermediate compartment (ERGIC) and pairs to the plasma memb...

Establishment of tumor-associated immunity requires interaction of heat shock proteins with CD91.

Host antitumor adaptive immune responses are generated as a result of the body's immunosurveillance mechanisms. How the antitumor immune response is initially primed remains unclear, given that soluble tumor antigens generally are quantitatively insufficient for cross-priming and tumors generally lack the classical pathogen-associated molecular patterns to activate costimulation and initiate cr...

پروتئین شوک حرارتی؛ کاندید واکسن سرطان

Background: Tumor cells express antigens that can be recognized by immune system as foreign particles. Heat shock proteins (HSPs) are molecular chaperones that bind to tumor antigens and mediate their uptake into antigen presenting cells. Methods: This articles is a review article and its data has been collected and categorized from the articles in the field of cancer immunotherapy. All the ar...

ISCOMATRIX adjuvant induces efficient cross-presentation of tumor antigen by dendritic cells via rapid cytosolic antigen delivery and processing via tripeptidyl peptidase II.

Cancer vaccines aim to induce antitumor CTL responses, which require cross-presentation of tumor Ag to CTLs by dendritic cells (DCs). Adjuvants that facilitate cross-presentation of vaccine Ag are therefore key for inducing antitumor immunity. We previously reported that human DCs could not efficiently cross-present the full-length cancer/testis Ag NY-ESO-1 to CTL unless formulated as either an...
